* Update (24th of April 2009): Major update with bugs fixed and much functionality added:

* Added the ability to directly open a large image from the thumbnails (as you can see in the preview thumbnail “Direct Big Picture” );
* It’s now possible to have variable sized images in the project detail page;
* Added 24 (!) color tags to the existing color tags making it possible to set the color of every detail in Designer’s Portfolio;
* Added the option to easily switch on and off the following things: (1) vertical motion of the thumbnails; (2) uppercase characters on the main menu buttons; and (3) uppercase characters on the page titles;
* By leaving the color tag empty have transparant thumbnail backgrounds;
* Made the news thumbnails clickable and enabled for internal and external linkage;
* Updated the user manual and much more!

* Made it possible to have the top of the website fixed instead of variable;
* It’s possible to have a background image instead of the gradient background!;
* Set whether you want that background image to scale with the site or have it fixed;

* Made the border in the preview pink to show that it is possible to change it’s color, size or simply remove it!

Here are some highlights of this template:

General:

* All project and news thumbnails are loaded before entering the website, this ensures a smooth user experience;
* Set the border size and color or simply switch it off;
* With 36 xml controlled color tags, all colors in the website are controlled in an external xml file!

Header:

* Complete freedom in the order and number of main buttons and which templates to attach to those buttons;
* Hide the logo, insert your own logo or adjust the current logo;
* The header adjusts its vertical position to the height of the content.

Footer:

* Use HTML to customize the footer text;
* Toggle fullscreen mode;
* Turn on and off the background music and set the visibility of the equalizer.

Sound:

* Turn on and off the interface sound fx;
* Load a single mp3 or a complete playlist;
* Listen to the music fading in and out between songs and when set to pause.

Deeplinking:

Deeplinking allows the visitor to use the back and forward button of the browser. Even more important: it’s possible to directly access a certain page or project in the website itself. All animations on the website are made to check whether a visitor has just entered the website or is already surfing it.

There are 6 available templates to use for this website:

News:

* Unlimited amount of news items;
* Set your own headlines and use the cool way to scroll them through your screen;
* Use basic HTML tags for the texts;
* With deeplinking it is possible to directly access projects from your headlines using HTML links.

Projects:

* Unlimited amount of projects;
* Scroll through the thumbnails in a unique way;
* Autocenter when stopped dragging;
* When opening a project the project is able to show images, videos and swf files;
* Scrollbar adjusts to content height vs. screen height;
* Music fades away when playing videos;
* See popup descriptions when rolling over the media items;
* Zoom in on images with a custom cursor.

Large texts:

* Create larger pieces of text;
* Define whether it should be divided into 1 or 2 columns;
* Scrollbar adjusts to content height vs. screen height;
* The text supports HTML tags, CSS decorated hyperlinks, special characters and image support.

Contact:

* Set the contact details simply by adjusting an xml file;
* Easily customize the contact form to your needs;
* PHP file for sending contact info included.

Insert your own SWF :

* Be able to insert your own Flash movie to the website;
* The scrollbar will adjust to the height of your SWF .

Use external links:

* Easily create external links in the main navigation.

Designed with a musician in mind but equally suitable for any artist/creative individual.

General Features:
* Full deep linking support. A link can be created to any piece of content.
* Advanced URL Error management. Auto correction of in sub items (back to parent) – while error in main module urls, loads custom 404 Module.
* Back/Forward browser’s buttons support.
* Modules may be used multiple times. Use the same swf file and specify different xml content file.
* Mouse wheel support. Text areas and News/Events carousel.
* Xml driven menu – Any Module may be selected as the homepage module. (via xml) Menu buttons can also open external URLs .
* Many XML settings to change color scheme and appearance of items.

Main:

* Logo image and X & Y position specified in xml.
* Menu may be customised in xml. X & Y position of menu, number of items in each column, spacing of columns, spacing of rows, colors.
* Third party swf modules may be loaded into this template but due to the deeplinking they will need to conform to a few structural requirements. Details can be found in the help documentation.
* Background Image list specified in xml, random image or only 1 may be loaded. Aspect ratio of image remains intect.
* Backgroung color may be used if no image is requried.
* Pattern swatch may be specified in the xml and then applied to the background photo or color.

Deeplinking:

* Fully deeplinked. Some modules contain 3 levels of deeplinking.
* Deeplinking titles and site title chosen in the xml file.
* Links are auto formatted to be SEO friendly.

Error Module:

* Template contains url error management. If a link is not found the deeplinking eror management defaults back to the next available level in the specified link.
* If there is an error in the root module url then a custom 404 error module is loaded. This module contains an image and text descripotion and a link to redirect the user.
* This module can be completely customised in the xml.
* To view this module, in the preview, manually remove several characters from the module name in the browser address bar and press return key. When the template cannot located the specified module, the error module is loaded. Try it out!!

Mp3:

* Default site tracks are specified in xml. Autoplay and starting volume options available.
* Scroll enabled playlist where users can view and edit the track list.
* Mp3 player automatically alerts the user to add tracks to the playlist, after each default track finishes playing.
* A user may click this alert to open the discography module.
* The text and link from this alert may be specified in the xml. This alert no longer appears once the user has added a track to the site playlist.
* Auto scrolling of long song titles and Album thumbnails loaded from xml.

Twitter Reader:

* Loads in your latest twitter status using a PHP proxy set up. * Insert your Twitter ID into the xml file. * Code searched twitter status for url’s and styles accordingly. Links launched in new tab/window. * Date of status update autoformatted for aestethic reasons. * Cookies used to store the status update to avoid too many calls to the twitter api.(100 per/hour limit)

Discography:

* Display the tracks and artwork from your albums. * Allow users to add any tracks from your included albums into the playlist available site wide. * Include direct links to the songs purchase sites – iTunes or other pages. * Alternatively allow users to download the tracks instead of purchasing them. * All tracks have the option of not allowing them to be played/purchased/download. Buttons become deactivated. * Album description areas with Buy Now button. * Slideshow of album artwork. Many images may be included in each album. Each image may be given a tag line. * All these options plus the slideshow delay and tween easing options are available in xml.

Gallery:

* Loads fullscreen images and flv video. * Category browser supports multiple pages of thumbnails. * Category thumbnails interact with rollover position of mouse pointer. * Jpeg preview of next previous item. * Optional download functionality of image sets. * Optional “Tweet It” fuunction, where a user can tweet about what they are viewing. The button takes them user to the twitter.com site and automatically inserts the information (contained in the xml) into the tweet status update area, leaving the user only to press “update”. * Video fullscreen functionality. Background color and opacity editable via xml. * Each category, image/video is fully deeplinked and error managed.

Features/Slide show:

* Images and swf files supported. * Animated captions, title and boby. * Images may act as links, either to internal site content or external links. * Carousel or fade-in fade-out image transition mode available. * Autodelay option available, which decides the slide delay ased on the number of words in the captions. * All content and settings available in xml.

News & Events:

* Items, thumbs and summary and category defined in xml. * Option to link the item to an interactive location on the world map. * Map pixel reference grid is included in the package to aid in placement of location points. * Map is loaded from xml & may be replaced with a more specific map or image. * Items/locations may open a larger article in a reader or may open ecternal link. * Reader contains optional image, external links, and auto scroll of content. * Height of the reader is defined in the xml (for target audience screen resolution) and if content outgrow this size, scrolling appears. * Articles, items and categories are fully deeplinked and error managed.

Text Module:

* Reader contains optional image, external links, and auto scroll of content. * Height of the reader is defined in the xml (for target audience screen resolution) and if content outgrow this size, scrolling appears. * Articles, items and categories are fully deeplinked and error managed. * Social media profile links appear in bottom right of screen. * Icons, titles and link destinations are easily editable in xml.
